What Openclaw does

Openclaw is an automation tool that can connect to Google services to help users work with their own Gmail messages and Google Calendar data. This site exists to provide the required public information about the Openclaw app identity, its purpose, and how data is handled.

How Google user data is used

Openclaw uses Google OAuth to request access only to the scopes necessary for the intended functionality (for example: reading message metadata, modifying labels, and interacting with calendar events, depending on configuration). Users can revoke access at any time from their Google Account settings.

Data storage and security

Authorization credentials (OAuth tokens) are stored securely and encrypted on the server where Openclaw runs. Openclaw does not sell or share Google user data with third parties. Any processing is performed only for the user-authorized automation workflows.
